ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are very excited to announce the purchase of WYO MTN STARLIT, a 16hh bay morgan mare trained in dressage. We purchased her from Pearl Heater of Colorado. We are just beginning to get to know Starlit but so far she is a sweet, friendly, athletic mare. With her tremendous size, we are looking forward to breeding her to OGO Grand Prix Salute. Starlit's grand sire, Foxtrim Classic, was the first morgan stallion to pass the 100 day warmblood stallion test--and he did so with flying colors! Her sire, WYO Classic Hawk, is well trained and successful in the United States as an eventing horse. With her sport horse pedigree, we expect a wonderful contribution to our broodmare band from Starlit.

Shirana Sassy Lady is bred to Krila's Starfire
Sable Secret Wishes is bred to Bessia's Bossa Nova
STM Victory's Dreamweaver is bred to OGO Grand Prix Salute
North Wind Morgans has purchased two new beautiful sport horse mares. In the fall of 2005, we purchased OGO Du Prix Provenance by the well known sport horse sire, Caduceus Denver and out of Wendy LeGate's mare, OGO Higuera Tinkerbelle. Du Prix is a 2005 black filly with just a small white star. She has lots of size, beautiful movement, and an excellent very people-friendly disposition. She is a very typy, round filly and the icing on the cake is that she has a tons of mane, forelock and tail. She will probably mature in the 15.2 range and has beautiful forward movement. In the years to come, we will cross her with OGO Grand Prix Salute for what we hope will be a top-quality sport horse deluxe!
We are also very excited to announce the purchase of Raven's Black Magic. Raven is a six year old, solid black mare. She is a stunning mare and is doing very well in her dressage training down in Alberta. Her great grandsire is Ramuls Justin, who is the sire, grandsire or great grand sire of many of our mares. She also has lines to Whispering High Beam, Waer's Don Juan, and several crosses to Red Correll.

North Wind Morgan Farm is located in Wasilla, Alaska. I am a life long, third generation Alaskan, and my husband Mike grew up in Idaho, but has always been an Alaskan at heart.
A big part of our lives is centered around our love for Morgan horses. In the next few years, we plan to acquire a few more well-bred and well-mannered morgan mares to compliment our herd. We are focusing on big-boned, old style morgans.
We purchased most of our horses from different farms in Canada including farms in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan.
In the years to come we anticipate having many more beautiful foals to share with other morgan lovers.
